KMVA  Air Talent (Middays) / Morning Show Producer

Riviera Broadcasting is seeking a Full time Air Talent (Middays) / Morning Show Content Producer to assist our programming operations for Riviera Broadcasting’s KMVA-FM  Phoenix station – Hot 97.5/ 103.9. Our ideal candidate loves pop culture and social media and has a strong ability to create and produce content both OTA and Online Responsibilities:

This on-air host will be an integral part of the programming department. Demonstrating a high level of professionalism, excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills and the ability to effectively communicate internally with colleagues and externally with clients.

Maintains composure when faced with difficult situations or personalities, and thrives in a fast-paced environment always conducting oneself in a professional manner as a representative of the Riviera Broadcasting team on and off the clock.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Follow and enforce FCC regulations, station and company polices, including implementing station’s/state’s EAS procedures. Replace Protect the license with this.
• Fantastic organization and prioritizing skills while working under constant time sensitive deadlines
• Maintain Morning Section of website (adding/modifying content and layout to maximize traffic/interaction).
• Constant brain storming and generating new, innovative, creative content for the morning show
• Develop content through social listening, producer networking, and other morning show interaction
• Updating daily promos, editing of breaks and spots for quick turnaround
• Answer phones and screen callers for both live and recorded segments
• Keep all elements of content, features, traffic, etc. running on time
• Archiving and organizing show material and topics so they can be easily referenced at a later date for rebroadcast and best of shows * Collaborate with Program Director and Promotions Director to identify events and opportunities in the market that will create buzz and excitement around the morning and midday show and our brand
• Collaborate with Digital Content Leads to ensure that the morning show and midday show’s digital presence on station website and social media platforms is in line with our web and social goals / strategies  Producer will work other air shifts assigned by Program Director
• Video Shooting/editing
• Work 6 days a week for up to 6 hours a day which includes production and show prep. All shifts from the studio unless otherwise advised by Program Director.
• Localization of Jubai Morning Show

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years on air and morning show producer experienced required in a medium/large market.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficient and active user of social media platforms like – Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
• Adobe Audition / Vox Pro / Wide Orbit / Axia and other broadcast technology experience strongly preferred
• Abides by station and company policies and procedures and FCC guidelines
• A valid drivers license, insurance and a satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check is required
